Daniel is a NYS licensed Physical Therapist who completed the Physical Therapy Program at NYU in 1998 and has been specializing in orthopedic and sports physical therapy ever since then.
Prior to opening City Physical Therapy, PC, Dan worked for Sports PT of NY/HealthSouth, which at one point was the largest outpatient PT provider in the U.S.A. During his tenure with SPTNY/HealthSouth, Dan served in many roles, most recently as Facility Manager of their SOHO office and as the Director of Clinical Education, NYC/LI overseeing the clinical education program for 13 facilities and clinical rotations of hundreds of students from PT programs around the country.

He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the Orthopedic, Sports, and Private Practice Sections of the APTA, the New York Physical Therapy Association, the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), as well as the NYS Chapter of the NSCA.
Dan has completed extensive continuing education coursework including: Advanced Care of the Knee and Shoulder, Manual Therapy and Mobilization, Dance Medicine, Spinal Rehab, Maitland Manual Therapy, Rehabilitation of Young Athletes, Functional Training and Athletic Performance Enhancement.
In addition to treating, Dan has more than a decade of experience as a Clinical Instructor, teaching and mentoring many Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral students from all over the United States and the world.
Dan is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA and is well versed in all aspects of fitness, wellness, strength and conditioning, sports performance, program design and post-rehab training.
Dan has served on the Medical Staff for two NYC Marathons and recently served as the official PT for the World's Strongest Man Competition held at MSG in 2008.
Dan speaks conversational Spanish, and has personal interests in Martial Arts and Strength & Conditioning.
JoAnn is a New York State Licensed Physical Therapist who completed her Master's in Physical Therapy at Andrews University, Ohio. She completed her undergrad studies at Pacific Union College, California.
JoAnn has been based in New York City and specializing in Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy for nearly 10 years. She has completed extensive advanced training in the Areas of Trigger Point Therapy, Graston Technique, Kinesio Taping and Mulligan Concepts. She is a Certified Graston Technique Practitioner.
Outside of the clinic, JoAnn is a competitive runner and triathlete. She has completed 4 Marathons and more than 10 Triathlons (Sprint, Olympic and ½ Ironman Events). She hopes to complete a full Ironman Triathlon in the near future.
Clinically, JoAnn has a special interest in working with cyclists, distance runners and swimmers and is often sought out for her professional and personal experience in these areas. That said, JoAnn enjoys working with a wide range of patients suffering from orthopedic conditions or sports injuries and always focuses on getting them back to the important activities in their life whether that involves running a marathon or running around after their grandchildren.
JoAnn is also fluent in Japanese and is well known in the New York Japanese community.
Michelle is a NYS licensed Physical Therapist who completed her Physical Therapy degree at New York Medical College.
Michelle has experience in a variety of Physical Therapy settings including, orthopedics, pediatrics, and acute care. She works at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases as a rotating physical therapist. She has special interests in sports medicine and pediatrics.
She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and member of the acute care and Orthopedic Section of the APTA.
When away from the clinic, she enjoys snowboarding and basketball. Michelle is also fluent in Cantonese.

Yvonne is a New York native and a NYS licensed Physical Therapist who completed her degree at SUNY Buffalo in 2006.
Yvonne has experience in a variety of Physical Therapy settings including orthopedics, sports, geriatrics, home care and acute care. She has worked at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, Gouverneur Healthcare Services and Sports PT of NY. Yvonne also sees home care PT patients with the Visiting Nurse Services of NY.
She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Orthopedic Section of the APTA. Yvonne has also taken numerous continuing education courses related to manual therapy, including: McKenzie Method, Maitland-Australian Manual Therapy, Institute of Physical Art, and John Barnes’ Myofascial Release.
Yvonne is fluent in Cantonese and also speaks clinical Spanish. When she is not busy traveling or sampling the best restaurants in the city, Yvonne can be found at Yankee stadium rooting for her team.
Jodie is a NY state licensed physical therapist with a Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Long Island University. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of Rochester. Jodie completed her clinical training at NY Presbyterian Columbia Hospital, Mt. Sinai Rehabilitation, and Sports PT of NY.
Jodie has experience in the outpatient orthopedic setting working with a wide variety of patient populations. She has completed additional continuing education courses in the areas of manual therapy, women's health, and pediatrics. Before working with City Physical Therapy, Jodie was a staff PT at NY Presbyterian Columbia Hospital.
She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Orthopedic Section of the APTA.
Jodie was the recipient of an Award for Clinical Excellence from Long Island University and was an All-American college soccer player.

Eli is a Registered Dietitian and a NYS Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from New York University. Eli completed her clinical training at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in affiliation with NYU.
Eli has experience in both the acute care and outpatient clinical setting working with a wide variety of patient populations with a concentration on patients with cardiovascular disease. She currently works at The Mount Sinai Hospital as a Senior Clinical Dietitian covering the Cardiothoracic Surgical ICU and stepdown units and has been there since 2008.
She is an active member of the American Dietetic Association (ADA), the Greater New York Dietetic Association (GNYDA), and the Dietitians in Nutrition Support Group of the ADA.
Eli is fluent in Japanese and is an avid yoga practitioner.
Solange received her B.S. in Neuroscience and Behavior from Barnard College, Columbia University in May of 2011. She finds gratification in helping people regain their physical health and mobility. She begins the Physical Therapy program at Hunter College in June.
Solange is a zealous Lakers fan and native of California. She is fluent in Mandarin and enjoys watching and playing basketball. Having also grown up in Taiwan, she is on a never-ending search for the best Taiwanese food in the city.
Born and raised in New York City, Shirley graduated from LaGuardia Community College with a degree in Deaf Studies. She interned at the Center for Independence of the Disabled NY (CIDNY), assisting with interpretations. She can sign conversational American Sign Language and speak fluent Cantonese.
Shirley is currently pursuing nursing. She enjoys helping others and makes it her goal to put a smile on someone's face.
In her "spare" time, she enjoys bowling. You can also find her outdoors, whether it is playing sports or walking around the city.
Michelle received her B.A. in Psychology from Binghamton University. She will be starting the Physical Therapy program at Long Island University this upcoming summer. Michelle is excited about moving one step closer towards a career as a physical therapist. She enjoys interacting with others and seeing their physical abilities improve.
Michelle is a native Cantonese speaker. During her free time she enjoys playing tennis and reading. She is also an avid fan of competitive gymnastics and the New York Yankees.
